We would like to welcome you to Camping la Plage, an English, family-owned campsite in an unique and tranquil position situated directly on the River Dordogne in approximately 10 acres of woodland with private access to the river.
 
Our central location means easy access to towns like Sainte-Foy-la-Grande with it's busy market every Saturday morning. The famous Saint-Emilion wine region with its magnificent monastery and vineyards is approximately 25-35 minutes away, as is the beautiful town of Bergerac. Other well known towns such as Duras, Eymet and Bordeaux are within driving distance.
There are many vineyards which offer wine tasting in the area, a world ranked 18 hole golf course within 12 kms, an Aquapark, horse riding, go-karting, bowling, canoeing and lots more just a short distance away.
If you don't wish to spend time in the car, we have activities on site which include: swimming pool, children's play area, basketball, badminton, table tennis. On the river, canoeing and kayaking are 2 minutes walk over the bridge and fishing is accessible from the campsite. Also over the bridge is an assortment of local shops offering everything from fresh bread to postage stamps, internet cafe and hairdressers..
